Employers for Public Transit Group

The GROUP will be identifying and recognizing the nation’s leading companies supporting and subsidizing public transportation for their employees.

The GROUP will provide research, best practices, grant information and visibility for Commuter Benefits’ Programs that stand out for their support of the Public Transit systems so vital to moving today’s workforce.

Many of the Nation’s Public Transit systems are facing critical budget shortfalls exacerbated by the Pandemic, inflation, as well as the WFH movement. One way to assist these systems is to increase ridership and fare subsidies for employees depending on Public Transit.

Another way the GROUP will support the Transit Systems will be through a Steering Panel of seasoned employer executives committed to Transit who will be available to provide advice and counsel to system operators navigating this new funding era.
